#LittensLoveRomance with over half of the vote, we have our seasonal pick - a twist on A Christmas Carol with some ghostly adventures. I think this is a neat premise and I‘m looking forward to it. We‘ll read 3 chapters a day starting Dec 15 and we‘ll take a break on Christmas Day in case it‘s too busy to get much reading in for some of our participants. I loved characters, I felt for Amelia who was so alone in the world and forgot who she really was. Noah was lovely & grumpy with a golden heart.

This was super cozy book and I adored the setting - even though it didn't feel 100 % believable. I mean small towns have their darker sides too.

This was an easy going story, super predictable but still enjoyable. Maybe some things were solved a bit too suddenly/easily.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.35-end/review: I‘m so glad Noah‘s sister smacked some sense into him and instead of sabotaging his relationship he went to see Amelia. It was a great ending and a nice big gesture on his part (buying the iPhone too❤️). I really liked this book even though it was definitely a slow burn lots of pining type of romance. I fell in love with the town too, and the quirky people. I will definitely be heading back to Rome, Kentucky.

OriginalCyn620 I did enjoy this as well. I read Practice Makes Perfect, the 2nd book in the series, not realizing at the time that it was part of a series. I absolutely loved that one, and now I will definitely read the other 2 books in the series! 1w

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.33-34: finally Amelia and Noah have it out and decide that yes! they do want to be together. hallelujah! But then those damn paparazzi show up and surprise, Susan comes to the rescue. A bit convenient. Amelia speaks to her mom, and realizes Susan has been the villain in the piece for a while. She acknowledges that she‘s given the woman too much power over her - but no more. ⬇️

StayCurious Susan is fired, and I really hope she doesn‘t try to hurt Amelia professionally. She seems like the vindictive type. And I hope she hasn‘t been stealing from Amelia all these years. I‘m proud that Amelia finally decided to sort stuff out. Let‘s finish the book tomorrow since there‘s not much left 🙂 2w

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.31-32: well they took things to the next level. Better to have loved and lost is their thinking. YOLO and all that. Honestly- there‘s no going back now! They were already in love. Now they‘ve only cemented their feelings. I get that Noah was hurt but him comparing Amelia so much to Merritt is doing her a disservice.

CrowCAH The end of chapter 22 ended with a big idea! Will she stick to it?! It‘s difficult not to compare one person to another, especially when their “big city” circumstances are so similar. 1w
