that the Cardinals will win
a few games this year?
marleed I absolutely love the energy a winning sports team brings to the community and always hope that every generation gets to witness their cherished team take home the big prize at least once or twice in their lifetime. In this particular case though, and since I‘ve only witnessed pro football live in one stadium, please don‘t unfriend me for my long and oft painful loyalty to the KC Chiefs - I know our turn is fleeting. 🤣🏈❤️💛 3w

marleed @TheBookHippie My eldest sister (rip) and her husband were/are massive Cubs fans - and also lifelong residents of Butte, MT. John (75ish) grew up on a street where every boy was assigned a baseball team and he acquired The Cubs from a kid aging out. It was his job to know every stat and player of his team. He still does - nearly 70 years later! I was beyond thrilled they won the World Series as my sister battled cancer. 3w
TheBookHippie @marleed awe how lovely!!! It was so much fun my daughter and I were in Chicago that day and the days after. 💙I‘m so glad he got that! I‘m so sorry about your sister. Mine died of cancer when we were children. Cancer is such a horrific thing. 3w

marleed @TheBookHippie @dabbe Returning from Butte to Kansas City following her funeral my flight was derailed in Bozeman. It was either a hotel or the Red eye and I chose the later. I flew from Bozeman to Seattle (long layover) to Chicago (with a longer layover) to KC. Ordained since Seattle and Chicago were her 2 favorite cities. All I could do was laugh, text my sisters, and purchase Seattle and Chicago Starbucks mugs at each layover. 3w

RamsFan1963 I don't know how many games the Cardinals will win, but I'm betting they beat the Saints in Week One. The Saints have no QB or much of an offense period. It "should" be a cakewalk for Arizona. 3w
