She‘s definitely local to me and it looks like what was her family‘s big original horse ranch has now been turned into a community of multi-million dollar homes in a swanky “foothills with a view of the Rocky Mtns” neighbourhood called Calling Horse. 5y

Here are a couple of lovely old bookplates I‘ve found in recently purchased vintage books.

They are sometimes thought to detract from the value of (certain) books but I always enjoy finding them (and enjoy wondering about the life of the previous owner/bibliophile, too!).

GondorGirl I love finding old book plates. They're so pretty! My favorite has a man riding a dinosaur on it. I can't remember which of my books it's in though... 8y
