pickBack to work tomorrow so my last bk of hols and an apt photo from our last day and a puffin cruise (1 hr ride around island, v windy, no puffins but fun)
I really enjoyed this story set around a wedding on a remote Irish island, with very rich hedonistic bride/groom and guests. Thru different voices tension increases until a climax that allows much speculation on the killer. Definitely a writer I will try again.

so-soMeh. This was a fast read but not a great one. The many wtf moments don't do any favors to an implausible plot. It reminds me of those bad straight to DVD action flicks where there are lots of explosions and shootouts but little logic. I'm being generous with the so-so.

Book 9 finished for #Awesome August.
This is a very intense and fast moving psychological thriller. It grabs you from the very first page, there is no preamble, and then doesn‘t let you go. It is both fast moving and tense at the same time.
