As expected the guy ended up with the girl by the end.....
The end felt a bit rushed to finish but a overall good read.

It been a while since I read a book over 600 page's but I did enjoy this one and it's very different from the film, as usual!

I found another book shop today in Newcastle
The book Greengrocers.
They had a great clearance section outside so I got this chunkster for $4.
I was a bit disappointed in there true crime section but we can't have everything in life.

Repost for @TheAromaofBooks

I may regret this, because obviously I don't have enough buddy reads going on 😂, but is anyone interested in reading the Trixie Belden books with me? I'm thinking similar to the Nancy Drew readalong - one book a month with a few discussion posts? Since we read ND in the first half of the month & discuss on the 15th, I'm thinking Trixie in the second half & discuss on the 30th?

If yes, start this month or in April?

TheAromaofBooks Thank you for the repost!! 1mo
curiouserandcurioser @TheAromaofBooks i would reread Trixie Belden with you, but would want to start in April:) 1mo

#ItTakesAllKinds #WithMap gotta love a book with a map! I don‘t think even in my hiking prime I could walk this backbone trail of California, as the map indicates Colin Fletcher walked north from Yuma to Oregon from March 8th to September 8th. book was published in 1964, not sure what year he walked it.

Eggs Amazing trek👏🏻👏🏻 1mo
Bookwomble Wikipedia says he did the walk in 1958 😊🥾🥾 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thousand-Mile_Summer 1mo

1. Yes, I had a few goals. I met my GR goal & completed my library‘s book challenge. I didn‘t finish all my bookspin books but got close.
2. 5 ⭐️ for The World Record Book of Racist Stories because the audio version earned it an extra ⭐️
3. Don‘t think I have any series planned for next year

This middle grade book explores the theme of separation. The @wow_reads Reading Ambassadors had a great chat with Lisa McMann, who brought her husband, Matt. He‘s also an author! (Book tagged in comments.)

Okay, cheer performance completed last night, Halloween almost here. I am hoping to finish the tagged before the end of the month. However, not enjoying it really at all so will DNF if I continue to be grossed out by slaughter pigs. 🤢

Another novel of our school‘s storage. It is a novel about teenagers starting a dangerous game ending in a crime. To me it seemed like the novel was only written for educational purposes in sense of “don‘t do this”. It tried to hard.
