For avid readers and the uninitiated alike, this is a chance to reengage with classic literature and to stay inspired and entertained. The concept of the magazine is simple: the first half is a long-form interview with a notable book fanatic and the second half explores one classic work of literature from an array of surprising and invigorating angles.The book of the autumn will be M.P. Shiel's sci-fi masterpiece The Purple Cloud. This cult novel from 1901 involves one man's trip to the North Pole, followed by the death, due to a large poisonous cloud, of everyone on Earth...except for him.Our cover star will be revealed at publication.

Look at this wonderful package of goodies I just opened from @GondorGirl ‘s #GiGiBookbox giveaway! As you can see, Froedrick was all about those mice! He took off with one right after I snapped the photo! I love the bookmarks, so cute! The pen made me laugh because I‘ve been meaning to read Bridge of Clay, it‘s on my kindle. The soap smells great (Sietje was hoping it would be for her!) And somehow the bag didn‘t make it into the photo... 😊

I won a $10 Amaxon gift card yesterday. A bit bummed because I was in 11th place and the top 10 won a Kindle Fire. This was a walking challenge done at the National Book Festival.📚💕. I am still happy about the gift card though!

totesmarisa @Caseymarienyc It's a quarterly magazine produced by Penguin Classics UK + Fantastic Man! You can sign up for a (really cheap) subscription on their website. I think you basically just end up paying for shipping to the US. You will LOVE it!! 8y
