Decided to not subject y‘all to my chicken scratch this time 😂 Also life hack: if you find this template on PicCollage you can adjust it to a 5x5 bingo grid if you wish. I‘m still using a bujo for mine but just in case anyone wants to use it. #BookSpin

Princess Diana died 24 years ago today. In some ways it feels like it‘s been ages, yet I can remember it like it was yesterday.

This Europa edition has been part of my collection for awhile—it is the fictional perspective of the unknown driver of the white Fiat that witnessed the accident and sped off into the night. I‘m only a few chapters in but so far so good.

Cinfhen Ohhhh!! I remember that moment so well too!! Book sounds fabulous 3y
EvieBee She died on my 13th birthday. I always think about her around this time of year. 3y
Reviewsbylola Happy birthday @eviebee! I imagine that made quite an impression on you, her dying on your birthday. I was the same age. 3y
EvieBee @Cinfhen Hey, an ‘84 baby! Thank you 🤗♥️ (edited) 3y
Cinfhen Happy Belated birthday, @EvieBee 🎉 😘♥️I feel OLD @Reviewsbylola I was 34 and a mother of 2!!! I remember I was in the car, driving to my in-laws when the breaking news came on the car radio. It was surreal, I kept thinking that doesn‘t make sense, the paparazzi killed her??!? It‘s such a sad story on so many levels. 3y

A fictionalized account of the mysterious Fiat driver involved in the car accident that killed Diana, Princess of Wales in Paris in 1997. I really enjoyed this book when I read it last year.

Despite only 200 pages it was long read for me. I do not like writing style and the undeveloped character. Instead of descriptions what route the character decided to take and numerous Paris suburbs name, I think author should focus how the character became who she was and gave a reader a background.

Wow, this book! Excellent writing, and the whole idea of a fiction set around the death of Lady Diana was interesting just in itself. There were at least three WTF moments for me while reading this... I love it when a story surprises me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gleefulreader Sounds fascinating (and I love Europa Editions!) 7y

Excellent fictional read about the mystery driver of the white Fiat Uno involved in Princess Diana's crash. I love a writer who can tell a tale in less than 200 pages. Perfect translation from French (I read the English version). I know many think Europa covers are cheesy, but I like them-especially this one. 5⭐️s

Lacythebookworm I love the cheesy Europa covers 👍😊 8y
LitHousewife I'm so happy that you enjoyed this one. I'm middle of the road on the Europa covers, but I loved this cover, too. 🙂 8y

A fictionalized story about the driver of the mystery Fiat that was involved in Princess Diana's fatal crash on 8/31/97. The year before, she visited Chicago and I was lucky enough to meet her at the appearance in this picture. Though we chatted only for a moment, I was impressed by her grace and calm despite the huge crowd that turned out to catch a glimpse of the People's Princess.

LitHousewife I had no idea!!!!!!!!!! #freakingout 8y

"Are you sure you're Lou? You've changed.....
The fact that she didn't react told her that this time, in a way, she was beyond fear. She was nothing but fear, so that nothing made her afraid anymore. If they arrested her now, she wouldn't even be startled."
