Anyone want to guess how many puppies were actually in this book??? Well if you guessed any number larger than ZERO you lose! Who does these covers?? Who puts puppies on a cover of a book in which there are literally no puppies?!?!?

Aside from the crushing disappointment of no puppies, this was a perfectly happy little romance, the third book in the Christmas Tree Ranch series. Overall I have enjoyed these, super relaxing lil fluff stories & ⬇️

TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) they are completely clean - a few smooches but not even any cut-scene bedroom situations & that's honestly quite hard to find in contemporary romances these days, so I appreciate it. I don't really see myself rereading these, but they were perfectly enjoyable for a one-time read, especially for #WinterGames !!

This qualifies for #FestiveFlicks #AVeryMerryBingo & #BookmasBingo as well as furthering my goal for #ReadYourWayReadathon & ⬇

This was a cute, clean Christmas romance and I really enjoyed it. Perfect for cozying up by the fire and getting lost in snow and sleigh rides and romance. ❤️❄️ #christmas #romance

LibrarianRyan I love Janet Dailey a holiday stories. Santa in a Stetson is I e of my fav. 3y
LeslieO My sister was a big Harlequin Romance reader back in the 1970s but the only ones I would read were the Janet Daileys. 3y
SheReadsAndWrites I'm embarrassed to admit this is my first one of hers to read ? but I really am glad I found her. I write "sweet" romances myself so that's what I like to read and I feel they are hard to find. ? @LeslieO 3y

#BookReport - Solid week of reading, due in large part to #WinterGames & my 300pg/day goal I've set for the #ReadYourWayReadathon . I finished Roommaid & then blasted through RP1 & RP2 (those two combined were 945 pages!) & have also checked off two Christmas books & only have about 25 pages left in the tagged book. We'll see if I burn out on Christmas fluff, but right now it just sounds SO relaxing!!

TheAromaofBooks @TheSpineView - Thank you!!!! Your readathon is really inspiring me!! 3y
TheAromaofBooks @valeriegeary - I'm not completely sure I can keep it up, but December is actually a “gap month“ for me between my two seasonal jobs, so I have more spare time than usual!!! 3y
TheAromaofBooks @Cinfhen - I reviewed it earlier this week & rambled on about some aspects haha But short version - if you enjoyed the first book, I think it's worth reading RP2, but it's not a book I ever see myself rereading. It felt a little like he was trying too hard & I also felt like there were some serious concepts about what it means to be human & how we should handle advanced tech that weren't at all explored - instead everyone was like, “oh, cool, ⬇ 3y
TheAromaofBooks - we should totally just do this without any discussion whatsoever!“ And that annoyed me haha But it completely sucked me in while I was reading it & it was interesting to see where Cline decided to take the story next, even if I didn't really love it. 3y
Cinfhen I didn‘t love the first book and I‘m not sure I‘m in the mood for a literary lecture 🙄so I think I‘ll pass / thanks for your feedback 3y
TheAromaofBooks @Cinfhen - Yeah, if you didn't particularly enjoy RP1, I would give RP2 a pass. Although I'm sure it will have its fans!! 3y
Clwojick Crushing it! 🔥 3y
TheAromaofBooks @Clwojick - Thank you!! I really am being incentivized by crazy #WinterGames !! 😂 3y
