Another incredible series wrapped up by the incomparable Sarah MacLean!! This one is definitely a case of saving the best for last!! Grace and Ewan‘s story made me feel all the feelings and fall in love with both of them!! Grace is the strong badass heroine and Ewan is the man that is happy to stand back and watch his queen 😍😍 i cannot wait for her next series coming later this year!!

I wanted to love this book so much, I really adore a good "Villain turns Hero" romance, but I have to believe that the Villain has changed, or at the very least I have to believe that his reasons were good enough for his behavior in previous books. (Cont. ⬇️) #romantsy

CoffeeK8 Unfortunately, I did not believe in Ewan's redemption arc. However, I do believe that Grace was convinced and that she truly loved him. And this always presents a problem for me when rating a romance. I think many other people will love this book, and I am always a HUGE Sarah MacLean fan, but this one just didn't work for me. 4y

Johanna414 I felt the same way... I really enjoyed the first two books in the series, but didn‘t care for this one. Nothing in this book redeemed his behavior in the first two - I would have preferred a story about her moving on and finding someone else. 4y

I loved reading Daring and the Duke. The redemption arc is great and this is overall a great conclusion to the trilogy.

Thia trilogy was also my first time reading Sarah MacLean, but in definitely excited to read more of her work now.

Enemies to Lovers isn't my favorite trope. I'm a Virgo and will forgive and not forget. But this heroine literally whoops the hero's tail in the first few chapters. She beat him so bad they had to jump 1 year in the future so he could be redeemed in peace. There's masquerade balls and a brothel that caters to women. And I need this energy in my life asap 🤷🏾‍♀️

Ahh this book was so good. I love everything Sarah MacLean writes! This book was a perfect ending to the Bareknuckle Bastard series and I can‘t wait to see what Sarah has next! I‘m so glad Grace and Ewan were able to work things out! (It‘s a romance so not a spoiler 😂). And I loved seeing Hattie, Felicity, Devil and Whit around so much.

Julsmarshall @Saavylibrarian She is one of my favorites! Her heroines are smart, independent and often sassy and/or tough! The heroes are usually grumpy and standoffish but eventually come around. They are just the right amount of steamy, give one a try and if you like them, she has written quite a few! (edited) 4y

I feel almost sacrilegious saying that I really didn't enjoy this book the way I thought I would.

My biggest issue involves tying up a key loose end from the previous books. I was not satisfied with the lack of responsibility that Devil and Beast took in regards to being the catalysts to drive Ewan over the edge. Ewan's actions are a direct result of them telling him Grace was dead, and if that was addressed, I missed it. #romantsy
