First of all there are no quotation Mark's or clues as to who is speaking. Very off putting. The first couple chapters were rather interesting, describing how painting of girl reading through various centuries. But somewhere the thread broke and I really was hoping it would come together.
But I read to the end and finished my 4 books for #20in4. So there's that!

Last weekend I took my mom to New York City to celebrate her 90th birthday, and although I couldn't find time to indulge in any #bookishtravel visits to bookstores I did get a thrill out of spending some time with this beautiful bookish Matisse.

My 2017 #bookishresolution is to make reading more accessible to others. I'm not sure what this looks like yet - maybe volunteering with a literacy program, maybe volunteering my time to read to kids, maybe encouraging my friends to read by starting a book club. I want to be the Kool Aid woman and get everyone hooked on reading 😀And of course I'm doing the reading challenges! 😀
