This was hilarious, witty, and punny. Author and book reviewer Lisa S. and her daughter Francesca, a columnist, face off on every topic imaginable.

I had to share the Christmas card that I received from local author, Lisa Scottoline and her daughter! Lisa is a lover of animals. She has four dogs, two cats, a horse and chickens! I love that when she does her book signings, she brings one of the dogs with her! #merrychristmas

Brix (and Bear, same breed but being camera shy 😉) just finished listening to this while doing some early morning cooking 😁 I enjoy hearing the author's read their own books and I really enjoyed the author's chatting about their relationship and writing at the end. Now, on to some gardening and then their next book!

I haven't read any of Lisa Scottoline's books yet but I do read her column in the local paper. Today's column shows that she'd be right at home here at #Litsy! Link to entire column: http://www.philly.com/philly/columnists/lisa_scottoline/20161211_Lisa_Scottoline...

PurpleyPumpkin This was a great article. Very funny - she's a kindred spirit and definitely a Litten! 7y
tpixie Fun! Ur right, she'd fit right in!! 7y
drokka I read a few of her books in the 90s but then went to Uni and along with many other series I fell behind. If need to commit a heist or win a huge lotto to be able to catch up (for both financial and temporal reasons) 7y

LauraBrook What a fantastic, honest, and spot-on article! 📚 📚 📚 7y
ValerieAndBooks @PurpleyPumpkin @tpixie @LauraBrook glad you enjoyed the article also. I knew I had to share when I saw it 😊. @drokka very good goal...buy all the books when winning the lottery! 7y
BB1958 Asa former attorney I can tell you that Ms Scottoline "gets" lawyers. Her mysteries reflect that in very subtle ways. Haven't read her in years - rarely read mysteries now--but always enjoyed her books. 7y
ValerieAndBooks @bb1958 your comment made me curious and so I looked her up and she did graduate from Penn Law and practiced for a while before becoming a writer. Makes sense. I've been thinking of checking her out but will try one of her stand-alone novels first. I used to read mysteries a lot myself; I think less willing now to try to keep up with a series. 7y
BB1958 @ValerieAndBooks if you decide to read mysteries by a lawyer/former lawyer a book to consider is Presumed Innocent by Scott Turow. It was a bestseller years ago and I found it very realistic. 7y
