With everything that was happening in the world, all Sal could do was obsess about a stupid man. ‘Forget him,‘ I said. I wish she had. Or I wish I had taken her more seriously. But I took over organising the airport protest, and I was so busy co-ordinating that, and helping set up the Recycle Fashion shows, I didn‘t even stop to think. It‘s one of the things I regret most in my whole life.

This isn't going to end well, then, is it...

I decided to join in on the fun and participate in #MakeMeReadIt. If you haven't heard of the #MakeMeReadIt tag it's basically were you get to decide my August TBR. Since I only plan to read 4 books a month, I will read the top 4.

Tag your pick in the comments.

Habe das Buch nun beendet und kann sagen das es nicht schlecht ist. Aber es hat mich auch nicht umgehauen. Für Dystopiefans aber eine schöne kleine Abwechslung für zwischendurch.

Pickpick

More of the focus was on the young Jessie's emotional life than on her post-apocalyptic reality, so perhaps not a great read for those more interested in that external condition. However, I found this especially relevant given the ways in which humans seem hell bent on annihilating one another.
