In the 10th of the series, Agatha decides to spend some time in the tiny village of Fryfam. Of course, someone is murdered, and maybe the Fairies are playing tricks on Agatha. Agatha shows a bit more of her vulnerable side in this one, but also shows she can handle situations on her own without the help of her love James. The ending did make me grumble a bit…sigh…

James Lacey is an absolute Twat Waffle!!!! I really hope he gets murder in a future book. Charles has really grown on me and I love his and Agatha relationship so much more. I think I‘ve listened to enough of the books to start the TV series 🙂

Andrea313 "Twat Waffle" is a sorely underused descriptor. ? 3y
KathyWheeler I love “twat waffle!” It‘s perfect for James Lacey. 😄 3y

Ok just starting this one and wondering what happened to the cat Scrabble she picked up in last book? Does any know this audio book doesn‘t mention him just her original two cats.🤔

Book 10 in the series is another pick! I‘m loving these on audiobook. Most of the series is available on Audible Plus for anyone who‘s interested. I love Agatha and her relationship with Charles, he cracks me up! 4⭐️

Bookzombie I‘ve only read the first few books, but I like Charles in the TV series too. 3y
AlaMich I‘m on my first audio Agatha and am enjoying it very much. Penelope Keith is the best for this series. 3y
KathyWheeler I love the covers of the ones you‘ve been posting. 3y

Is it just the village kids playing a prank with a torch or are fairies at the botton of the garden actually real?!
I really loved reading this title! It's stories like this that make reading worth while to me! Very humorous yet still manages to bring mystery! ☺

The 10th Agatha Raisin mystery finds Agatha in the village of Fryfam. Fairies, murder, secrets...all play a part in this addition to the series. Though Agatha can be nasty and catty, her vulnerability and the tugs at her conscience make me wish I could meet her. Plus, she adores cats. Need I say more??

Ncostell Love Agatha Raisin too! 7y

When one leaves, the other takes over. #Vladimir is now resting as I read. He curls up on my lap so tightly...he looks like a little gray ball of fur! #catsoflitsy

Some books drive you deeper into life and its mysteries, others help you escape from reality. After reading some pretty deep books, I was in need of a little escape. Agatha Raisin is an unlikeable and unlikely detective, but I always enjoy spending time in her world.
