Fair Game | Patricia Briggs
Patricia Briggs, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Mercy Thompson novels, "always enchants her readers." (Lynn Viehl, New York Times bestselling author) Now her Alpha and Omega series-set in a world of shifting shapes, loyalty, and passion- brings werewolves out of the darkness and into a society where fear and prejudice could make the hunters prey... They say opposites attract. And in the case of werewolves Anna Latham and Charles Cornick, they mate. The son-and enforcer-of the leader of the North American werewolves, Charles is a dominant alpha. While Anna, an omega, has the rare ability to calm others of her kind. Now that the werewolves have revealed themselves to humans, they can't afford any bad publicity. Infractions that could have been overlooked in the past must now be punished, and the strain of doing his father's dirty work is taking a toll on Charles. Nevertheless, Charles and Anna are sent to Boston, when the FBI requests the pack's help on a local serial killer case. They quickly realize that not only the last two victims were werewolves-all of them were. Someone is targeting their kind. And now Anna and Charles have put themselves right in the killer's sights...

Wow so emotional! All the feels for poor Charles in this one💔💔 loved reading about the events that lead Alistair to force the Fae to break with the USA. The world that Patrica built is so fascinating and love his these books connect with Mercy‘s.

It‘s Halloween morning here in Japan. I‘m enjoying sitting out on my balcony enjoying the view. I finished my reread of the tagged yesterday, but was so caught up in the #hauntedhollowswap posts, I forgot to post it!

I enjoy how this series is set concurrently with Mercy‘s, but has its own feel.

#screamathon & #scarathlon #teamharkness 8.5hrs for #littenlisten #votedearlyreadathon #creaturefeature (werewolves) & the other readathons 🎃

Fun as always! I really love both the Alpha&Omega and the Mercy Thompson Series!
This explained quite a lot about events in the Mercy Thompson books, where I'm further along.
And for anyone who says that fantasy books don't talk about current issues, I'll recommend this book!

robinb I haven‘t read any of these yet but maybe should have started here? I love Mercy! ❤️ 4y
Deifio @robinb They always kinda tie into each other. The first "On the Prowl" explains where that werewolf kid comes from that Mercy rescues in her first book. I checked Goodreads for the reading order. I came late to the Alpha&Omega Series, too 4y
robinb Cool! Thanks for the info! 4y

Loving this reread. I have some coming up that don't seem to have digital audio options, and one doesn't seem to have an audio version at all. I may have to switch to regular for part of this reread 😕

Book 97 of the year, finished Nov 16, audio

I actually super enjoyed this one. After Hunting Ground I thought I'd about worn out the series, it felt a bit repetitive. But Fair Game really ramped things up, moved beyond the New Relationship twitterpation, and had an excellent twist at the end. Quite looking forward to the next.

Patricia Briggs' Alpha & Omega series. I really love the development of the two main characters who are not the typical high strung, trouble always finds them characters. Anna (Omega) was forcibly changed into a werewolf & brutalized by her pack. Charles (Alpha) sent to investigate other issues helps Anna to free herself. Anna learns she is not useless as she was told and Charles the 200+ year-old werewolf learns he may not know everything.
