I tried so hard to like this. The writing was so heavy handed and I found the hero to be dull as spit. Constant repetition in the dialogue killed this book for me. To bad too. It had all of my favs: strong military alpha hero, unique heroine with protective older brothers, suspense and action...

Love this totally original series! It combines so many of my loves. Victorian age England, vampires, ghosts, witticisms, tea, steampunk, a sexy alpha werewolf, and a well endowed takes no nonsense heroine.
