Cute book for the fans of the Castle TV series. Rook had more luck with Heat than Castle did with Beckett, it took him 4 seasons to get the girl. Good mystery, light, playful and fun, snappy banter and some steamy sex. BTW I'm sure I'm not the first to notice clever use of Castle calling his hero Rook. The rook piece in chess is a castle, thus Rook is Castle. Cute. 4 💥💥💥💥 out of 5

Not total sure why, but this made me laugh 🤣🤣🤣

For anyone tired of the big name mysteries definitely should try this series. Even though it has a gimmick attached (the fans of castle will know what I am talking about) this series could easily stand on its own. Great read.

If you have ever watched an episode of Castle, you know exactly how the story goes.

In all the years I have been watching the show Castle I never got to read the books. Now that the show is over (Booo) I hope the books are just as good!
