Junior Girl Scout handbook | 
I am super proud of my kiddo - she earned her Bronze Award today. She and two sister scouts planned, fund raised, and filled birthday boxes for Together We Rise, a nonprofit that helps foster kids.
The egg tasted like ham???? I haven't had ham in nearly three years and I almost cried 😭 Am now trying to cook one of those pillsbury canned biscuit things. I actually have this exact book I've been tagging, but of course I'm not going to look at directions in the book for how to do this safely. If anyone is wondering what burning dried oregano smells like, it isn't like oregano. At all. More like weed. Don't do it. Trust me.
I had a shit excuse for a Girl Scout experience, so I'm figuring out how to make a box oven. On my own. With no directions. And no fire extinguisher. I've burned a waffle and now I'm trying to cook an egg. Can you guys tell I've never camped a day in my life?
These cookies may have happened this morning when I was accosted outside the grocery store by Girl Scouts. I had to try the new S'mores cookies which are good, but not nearly as good as (my favorite) Tagalongs. Many moons ago I was selling cookies myself--enough to go to camp a few times. Here's my old and worn GS handbook. Someday I'll remember what box in the closet my badge sash is in & show you that too. 😆💚🍪
I couldn't find the actual book, but I'm looking at a Girl Scout Handbook from 1953. We should all aspire to be girl scouts.
