The Empty Shelf | 
This old TV stand has served me well, but it‘s time to find it another home. The best solution is that my niece takes it to replace the “crappy plastic one” they got from Amazon, but I have a Plan B and Plan C to get it out of here. #empty #shelfie #ittakesallkinds
Carpet is replaced. The bookshelf is officially reconfigured. All the boxes are broken down. It only took three-ish hours and 45 trips up and down the stairs! Only casualty was one knuckle, which got caught between two boxes. Owwie!

Tomorrow the nasty, old carpet will be replaced. The bookshelf will go back to it‘s proper place. And I get to unbox my books! Is it weird that I feel some pressure about how to organize and design the shelves?

This sad empty #shelfie is to celebrate that I finally have all of my sister's books packed up in boxes to send across the country. Next project will involve staining these boards and then figuring out how to redistribute my books across twice as much shelf space as they presently occupy!
#bookriot #riotgrams Late to the party... And without a good #shelfie! This is where most of our bookshelves go. But my husband has just Gyprocked/ plastered over an awful textured wall, and it is awaiting sanding and painting, so our big room is in boxes.
I've finally chosen paint colours for this room. A terracotta-clay colour for the big wall, a gold for the wall that the setting sun rays will light up, and a pale vanilla for the others.
