I don't hate the end of vacation as much as I used to (that whole "work" thing aside)... because I miss this sweet little munchkin sooooo much when I'm away.

PS: how cute is this little mini sofa I got Moxie? I call this picture "Tell me you're spoiled rotten without telling me you're spoiled rotten" ?

#BoundTogetherJune Day 11: So Facebook memories tell me that 3 years ago we were in Milan and 4 years ago we were in Prague. Back when #Vacation was still possible. 😭 I seriously need a vacation - especially since I am teaching a fully online summer class with undergraduate students.

Just as applicable for homeschoolers, for the record. Today is full of trying to pick up where we left off before Christmas, and convince the kiddo that we have actually done this before.

And I‘m sneaking in snippets from my two current reads wherever I can. My thoughts are with all the teachers out there who have more than one kid to wrangle!

So I spent the last two weeks enjoying the islands of the Caribbean... now I am home to tons of snow and freezing temps! Plenty of reviews to come as a good portion of my time was spent relaxing and reading. Hope everyone is well and enjoying some great books.

The Good Daughter - just started this on the way home and so far I'm loving it.

Bet you didn't know some dinosaurs were in space for the last few million years and survived the grand extinction! This was really fun, but now my son doesn't totally believe me when I say dinosaurs are extinct. 😂I think I timed it badly, reading this the day after I took him to Jurassic Quest with all of their animatronic dinosaurs and realistic baby dinosaur puppets.
