Where do I even begin? Honestly, I feel like my words aren‘t gonna do justice to how good this book is. I think the main reason why I was so invested in it was because of the way it was written. The plot itself had me glued to the book for hours

I thought writing was really good! I guess I can say I enjoyed reading it because of its compelling characters but I don‘t consider it as a favorite.

Each chapter seems to be a part of Ove‘s character and personality. I got to know him better as soon as I got deeper into the book. Heartwarming, sad, and definitely a good recommendable bookclub read as well.

I finished this read in a day and solved the mystery! Woot woot. It was an easy one, the kind you could predict. The book is written from a third person perspective. It begins with the death of Joey and later on moves back and forth in time to explain the relation of his death to Lydia. For me, it was a slow paced one but the kind of slow paced read that won‘t lead you to a book slump. A 3.5 for me! Have a happy Sunday bookworms!

It kinda reminded me of IT where a band of misfit kids biking around and dealing with bullies which then gets a lead to a dead body. The writing style wasn‘t confusing even if it was the kind of novel that switches between the past and present. A 3.8/5 🌟 for me. I would definitely recommend it.

How to Walk Away | Katherine Center

I find this book enjoyable, charming, and an enticing read. I was drawn in by people‘s lives in the book especially the family drama. Revealing family secrets, ending relationships, showing a person's struggles to seek forgiveness, hope, and most especially, having the strength and patience amidst the consecutive unfortunate events comes a novel about Margaret‘s life.

Although it has comic and humor, I find the story sad too. Eleanor has been a loner and has suffered from abusive relationships as well. But what I mostly enjoyed reading was her character development, from struggling as a social misfit and dealing her issues with Mummy it‘s amazing to see her positive and determined to change despite everything that‘s happened to her. It‘s so well written and I recommend it wholeheartedly. ♥️

I‘m always a sucker for CoHo‘s book so I had high expectations for this one. But it was okay.. It brings a different vibe from her usual books. Love the twins‘ relationship though. And yes, I do recommend it especially if you‘re a huge CoHo fan like me. Her books are always worth to read.

I definitely enjoyed reading this book by Elif Shafak. It showcases Peri‘s life from childhood to being a mother. She was raised by parents with different views on their religion until she meets two women in Uni Mona the religious, and Shirin the rebellious one. It‘s a story about Peri‘s journey to identity herself and faith. Definitely recommending it.

Beautifully written by Donna Tartt. The attention to detail is wow! Very engrossing.. I think my favorite part were the last few pages of the book where Donna tackles more on art and philosophy. I like that stuff. 2 weeks, 864 pages. What a journey it has been. I must say, I did have a good reading experience overall.

Sofia skips University to take care of her hypochondriac mother. They visit a well known "shaman" in Spain for the treatment. Series of events happens which makes Sofia learn more about herself. It is a beautifully written coming of age story that doesn't only portray love in family and relationships but also learning to identify oneself amidst the daily muddles of life. I had a good reading experience with this one.

I realized I haven't posted much on this app. So I decided to post one.
.
The recent book I've read is Ashley Poston's "Geekerella" which I finished at 1:30 in the morning. Haha! It was a cheesy/cute read. It is a modern way of re-telling Cinderella. It has definitely exceeded its book covers. Good way to remind us never to judge a book by its cover.
