Next up? This book I‘ve heard so much about.
Airplane reading about my favorite decade! Enjoy these summer days, my friends! 🌺👒🕶🦋🐠🌞
Have to try! 😊
So I‘m doing this, and I‘m not sure how I feel about it. A co-worker called it a must-read, so I‘m giving it a chance. I have to add that my co-workers aren‘t book savvy, so there‘s that. 🤷🏻♀️
A tale of America that explores, in well-researched prose, a thorough depiction of America. Thought-provoking.
Obama read it—that‘s endorsement enough for me. 😊🙌
My BOTM read...can‘t decide how I feel about it yet. Anybody else pick this?
Wow. This startling look at opioids and other drugs quickly makes you realize the word “problem” is a gross understatement about drugs in the US.
Pass on this one, unless you‘d like to read about a cold, egotistical doctor who wants us to know about her life instead of the stories of those afflicted by the pain of mental illness. I finished it, but I wish I hadn‘t.
Well, wouldn‘t you? 😊😊😊
I read Just Mercy within the last year, so I‘m eager to see both perspectives on the experience.
Sorry for the almost profanity. I am loving this guy‘s perspective, I must admit. A book like this in a world that expects you to care in excess? Refreshing. 👍👍🤜
You have to love a vintage paperback. For a quarter, I found one previously owned by “Butch ‘The Mongoose‘ Quail. Dated 1962, this book has several stories: Kesey‘s and its many owners. This is part of why literature is so beautiful. If you‘re out there, Mongoose, I‘d love to say hey! ✌️✌️✌️
