I normally wouldn‘t recommend this terribly clichéd, predictable book, but it came to me during some rough days and proved a good distraction. For that, I appreciate it.

C.Perone Oh man, those were some rough years😰 All I can say is the more she got mad at me, the better the job I was doing; which she herself, at 24yrs, has seconded ☺️ 3mo

So I‘m doing this, and I‘m not sure how I feel about it. A co-worker called it a must-read, so I‘m giving it a chance. I have to add that my co-workers aren‘t book savvy, so there‘s that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pass on this one, unless you‘d like to read about a cold, egotistical doctor who wants us to know about her life instead of the stories of those afflicted by the pain of mental illness. I finished it, but I wish I hadn‘t.

You have to love a vintage paperback. For a quarter, I found one previously owned by “Butch ‘The Mongoose‘ Quail. Dated 1962, this book has several stories: Kesey‘s and its many owners. This is part of why literature is so beautiful. If you‘re out there, Mongoose, I‘d love to say hey! ✌️✌️✌️
