My husband built this reading table for me. I love connecting nature and art. Trees are emotional and communicate just as humans do♥️
Can anyone link me to bookshelf organizing ideas or tell me how you organize your library? I have stacks upon stacks and after moving, it is a mess. 😂
Book Mail arrived. I love coffee table books.
I finally read the 3rd installment. I like poetry books before bed. This one is my favorite from this collection, thus far. It's very honest and makes you reflect on your own life. I you like poetry, start with the first one and read them all. ♥️
I've been reading a new book from a new author. I was on Kindle and discovered her. I love reading while pregnant ♥️
As I begin this book, I have to say it feels nice to have such a good role model and woman with traditional Conservative views. Too often are normal ways of living frowned upon because we won't accept new age feminism and liberalism. This book redefines normal and living life while valuing men. Conservative women are told to be seen and not heard. Our opinions matter too. It's about living wholesome life freely and accepting others as well. 💗
I recently finished this list book. It was fun and easy to keep up with. I made my lists in the morning mostly.
I found a new series by Pamela Ford. Strangely, my new sweater arrived and matched my book cover. 🤣
Lately I have become enchanted with audio books. This one is great bc it's sweet and makes me feel like I'm back in NYC wandering the Flower District.
I am sitting in a library. The power has been out for hours. It's dark. It's amazzzzzing📚🙈🥰
I wrote some poetry as I laid in the grass. I am emotionally driven. I read and write because it's how I relate to others. I lost someone very dear to me in 2019. My husband has been my rock and I owe him everything for loving me when I was so empty.I love our Litsy community so much📝 #godbye2019 #litsywriters
I loved how honest her words were. As I read each poem, I felt like a ghost in her mind. I was pulled into emotions I was overwhelmed with. Definitely recommend this.
This book made me laugh and cry. You really can create a new identity. You will always be you though.
Look at this beautiful 150th Edition! I am more of a Jo girl. I relate to her the most.
I went one book over my goal. I am aiming for 300 in 2020! Each year for 10 years, I add more. I pushed myself so hard this year to achieve this bc it was NOT EASY. I stayed off social media and managed my time so much better this year. I literally used my well being timer on my Galaxy phone to keep my social media time at 30 minutes a day. Before I knew it, I was getting on IG and FB once a week.
I made this in honor of our beloved Kate Spade.
Such an eye opening book full of the feminine strength.
I have been using this book for two weeks now. I wake up more refreshed and it has a variety of ideas to start your day❣☕📚🧘♀️
Preorder her new book! I am so excited!
Amazon Prime Reading 🦋
I enjoy bringing my book alive. Listening to this sound track while rereading the book makes it so much fun. Do you have music you like to listen to with books?
An unbook-related photo op. I was watching my husband of 14 years, skipping rocks with two of our girls. I love reading, but sometimes I remind myself to put the book down and simply watch these moments. He leaves for Afghanistan next week. I cherish these times. My heart aches but is strong. I appreciate the good father he is. #wkndfamilytime
I read this book and was inspired to go out and buy a few new whimsy dresses for Summer.I love when a book makes me feel joy. Now when I wear these, I will think of this book. #bookinspired #wkndlove #buythedress #beyourself
In honor or World Environmental Day 🌏🍃🦋
Here is the book of the week📚
I got this off of my Libby app. It is free on library apps.
I will be posting discussion questions tonight.
#cozybookclub
I am planting all these seeds today and bulbs. I have read books on high desert planting, wildflowers, and ways to grow them with the dry heat. I have sweet peas, morning glories, moon flowers, daisies, wildflowers, petunias, orange and yellow marigolds, and many more. #gardeningsunday
My golden pathos has a new pot and home. My window is perfect. #urbanjungle #lovemyplants #bookplantlady
My blooming plants🍃🦋💚
I am starting a book club. If you're interested, let me know. I will post a new book weekly. A lot I find free on kindle, apple, ect. We can discuss it. Sunday mornings I will post a new book and discussion questions/commentary. I've never done an online book club. Any ideas or helpful thoughts? I'm stepping away from Facebook and just using this and Instagram. #cozybookclub
I made this in honor of L'Avventura. Good films are a thing of the past and his work is amazing.
I took advantage of #selfiesunday and got a haircut and style after being inspired to revamp my look from reading Mad Men. #madmenlover
I love the fashion and feels of mad men. I have an authentic moonstone that was carved and set by a jeweler in 1966. Art Deco jewelry is a favorite bc it makes a statement.
When you capture a photo of yourself all dolled up, it makes you feel good. So embrace the beauty of your life and capture it. xo
