"I think I killed a girl who looked like this once. Yeah. Her name was Emily Danagger. She'd been murdered in her early teens, by a contractor working on her parents' house. Her body was stuffed into the attic wall and plastered over."

Ecstatic to continue the spooky adventure! Even added a few hand-drawn sigils of my own witch power (please excuse my poor skills; still learning) to hopefully help in their journey~

Bklover Your sigils are beautiful! 2y

I cannot believe that Anna's story ends like that! Theseus, his mom, and the town of Thunder Bay make for the most terrifying and utterly mesmerizing story I have read this year!

On to the next Anna story ~ Girl of Nightmares

This gut-wrenching story is so raw and real and genuinely beautiful and honest and stunning and lovely. I am bad at articulating words. This book, Emory and Joey's stories, have taken all of my breaths away.

Let me start by saying I am a complete chicken; I cannot read/watch/hear scary horror things. Next: This book was thrilling & full of unsuspecting twists. I now believe in creatures that roam the night with vigilance. This story terrified me to my core with something raw, tangible, & completely human. Many times I found myself a little too on edge. This book & Marie's story swallowed me whole, and I am in awe of this story & its beautiful telling.

"Seventeen-year-old nobody from nowhere, who wanted to be a journalist someday but hadn't gotten further than delivering papers. Unqualified. Untested. Take your pick of descriptors that mean a kid in over his head."

I'm not one for scary, horror, thriller books or movies but this story caught my attention in the blink of an eye and I cannot wait to read this thrilling, epic adventure story full of suspense and scary curiosity

"The story we're telling now isn't the story we were given, the story we were forced to have. We've reached the better page."

A deep, soul searching, gut-wrenching, raw, relatable, angry, compassionate, determined, rock bottom. Ezra and Beatrix are my favorite humans; with their lovely supportive cast this book will make you mad, cry, laugh, and want to hug them all at once. A very human story of love, loss, and hope

Y'all I can't.... The hole inside my stomach as I finished this book; my heart beating a mile a minute; my mind trying to futilely catch up to Pippa... I have never been swallowed so whole within a story in my entire life as I have been with Holly Jackson's stories of Fairview, CT!

This story flows from the end of book one (A Good Girl's Guide to Murder) to the end of book two (Good Girl, Bad Blood) so seamlessly! The stories of Pippa Fitz-Amobi, her family, and friends, are full of mysteries, suspense, hilarity, curiosity, thrills, heart-stopping, gut-wrenching, bittersweet, raw, honest, genuine, realistic, creative, unique, relatable adventures... Both real and imaginative, of course!

Never in my wildest imagination did I think the story would end how it did! Ms. Holly Jackson kept her readers guessing until the very last page! Her writing style is beautiful, creative, and flows through my head like a movie.

☆☆If you havent gotten the PageHabit YA box yet: SPOILER WARNING☆☆

My very first PageHabit book came in today and I am in love!! 😍🥰

I am very thankful to my mom for helping me purchase this wonderful box, I really appreciate her & everything she has done and continues to do for me; she is the reason I have my love for reading! brb ~ off to read 📚✌🏻👭💜

ekgbow @allthingskayla -- Oh! Do they not send out the same book (s) to everyone? This is my first ever box of any kind, so I have no idea! Lol 🙃😂 The book you got sounds really interesting, too! 🤓📖👍 7y
The_Heeler_Booklife @ErinBow it is my first box too, but I do know they usually only send out one book in each box and each genre gets the same book. From the looks of it there is a variation of second books. 7y
ekgbow @allthingskayla -- This really makes me want to resubscribe now!! 🤣🤣 I have no money though... lol 7y
The_Heeler_Booklife @ErinBow I don't think they are doing second books anymore in the box. It was just a One time thing if you had the coupon to use. I don't have money for the box for a while as well. I did get chosen for a beta referral thing so new subscribers get $10 off their box and I get $10 off and if you get 3, then it's free. So, I may be getting my box free for a few months hopefully. 7y
ekgbow @allthingskayla -- Oh wow! Thats awesome!! I wish more boxes had one time purchases... although then I would go broke! 📬📦📚📚😂😂 7y
The_Heeler_Booklife @ErinBow same and I wish some book boxes were cheaper then what they are. 7y
ekgbow @allthingskayla -- If they were cheaper that would be lovely~ But I do understand why they're so much too! I do really want more bookish items, though lol 🤣 Do you know of any good Etsy or Society6 or RedBubble or any other stores that sell bookish goods? 🤓👌📚💕 7y
The_Heeler_Booklife @ErinBow I don't, sorry. I usually don't buy bookish items. 🙈 Maybe google or Facebook book groups would have great suggestions? 😊 7y
ekgbow @allthingskayla -- Ooohhh!! I've never even thought of the Facebook book groups! Thank you~!! 😀💖✌ 7y
The_Heeler_Booklife @ErinBow no problem, I'm in many and seen people ask about bookish goods before. 😊 7y
