I‘m not sure what I expected but another blackmail, discontent start to a long story about a continuation of killing others to save themselves… what did I just read and why did I waste my time … not every book is for you and this one is not for me I guess… I may pick it up in the future and see if I can get through it without throwing it across the room (I didn‘t really throw it but I wanted too)

Another great read from Joe Abercrombie. Although Glokta didn‘t get as much time in this story, I really enjoyed the characters and conversations they had with each other. I just wish Abercrombie had more books out as every one of the ones I‘ve read is outstanding and I can‘t get enough of his humor in conveying these stories. Great read

This is a “Remarkably” touching read. I really love when an author can utilize both hilarious and touching words to express a way of communication. This was a great read and I‘m hoping that there are more books by this author for me to read. (This is similar to Fredrik Backman‘s stories) I really enjoyed this read

This is my TBR for November (with the three books from my October tbr) I‘m rereading the tagged book as I have more of the series now. There are a lot of fantasy books but I really need to get these books read … if I don‘t finish some they will of course go to December but I read close to 30 books in October so here‘s hope I g I finish these

PurpleyPumpkin 30 books read in a month, wow! Well done you!🎉 1mo
Ddzmini @PurpleyPumpkin thank you I was trying to keep count with the 20 books I picked for the month then I added books like witchcraft for wayward girls, matchmaking for psychopaths, and a few others I read in less then a day so it ended up being more then I wanted to sometimes it‘s fun and other times it sucks to read so fast 1mo
PurpleyPumpkin I always want to read quickly. But I get your point about it sometimes not being so great to read fast because then I don‘t always remember what I‘ve read! It‘s like I can‘t absorb the story when I zip through it. 🤔 1mo
Ddzmini @PurpleyPumpkin right but if the books is good it seems I just can‘t stop reading and if it is really easy to read I go faster 🤦🏼‍♀️ 1mo

So wanted to like this book but it was to grandiose (my opinion) I know not all books are for everyone so I‘ll just say it‘s not for me but I‘m positive that others may enjoy it 🥺😨 I just don‘t and I normally give books a chance and at least finish them I just couldn‘t with this one

What is family ? Is it the one you‘re born with or the one you discover in the world ? And what would you do to make sure this family you‘ve discovered stays healthy and happy? This book takes that concept and runs with it with character you just fall in love with and care about… I believe that everyone has this extra family through thier own and others that support them… even if it‘s small it‘s still family… great read
