This is a reread for me but I really like the way Nora Roberts writes this was a good read with interesting characters and a good storyline

Man, I love Nora's early books! (This one was first published in 1990). Not to say that I don't love her current books as well, but her early stuff isn't as formulaic. This one isn't even a "romance" really, it covers such a wide swath of time and story. A fantastic book. I gobbled it up in less than 24 hours!
Starting a NR novel circa 1990 - it's heavier than I was going for, but 100 pages in and I'm too hooked to change course. One of those sweeping sagas that covers a lot of ground.
PS: In addition to petsitting Banjo, I've got two kitties to look after as well. This is Tibidey. He's almost completely blind, though he knows his way around the apt. I was told he'd probably keep to himself most of the time but so far he just wants to be near me! 😻
I'm a bit behind schedule but I'm ready for the post office on Monday! ☺️

New reading material in the mail today 🖤
Not many books have broken my heart as much as this one. And not many have had me crying in happiness as much as this one. This book hurt like hell. But it was so fucking good. To write characters and pain and love the way she does... Nora is a badass.
