“There is no such thing as bad people. We‘re all just people who sometimes do bad things.” Colleen Hoover, It Ends With Us
“The heart is an arrow. It demands aim to land true.” -Leigh Bardugo, Six of Crows
“You‘re weak because you‘re afraid of people seeing your weakness. You‘re letting shame decide who you are.” -Leigh Bardugo, Crooked Kingdom

I loooovvveeed these books! (I ship Kaz and Inej so hard.)
“Because the thing about standing here in the middle of the mountains with the rain coming down, in a house your grandfather built, is that it's too easy to notice how insignificant you are. How quickly you might go from something to nothing.”-Megan Miranda, All the Missing Girls
***
Megan Miranda has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I loved ‘All the Missing Girls.‘ It was so uniquely written.
“The truth is what I make it. I could set this world on fire and call it rain.” -Victoria Aveyard, Red Queen

I just love this series so much! 😭😭😭 I‘m so sad it‘s ended.
“That's who you really like. The people you can think out loud in front of.” -John Green, An Abundance of Katherines
***
This is my favorite John Green book.
What‘s yours?
“Falling is easy. The hard part is getting back.” -Jamie McGuire, All the Little Lights
***
This is my favorite book I‘ve read this year. It had romance, it had twists (that I actually did not see coming,) it was just a good book. The cover is gorgeous, too.
“Remember me with joy, for this is how I always thought of you. That is what I want, more than anything. I want you to smile when you think of me. And in your smile, I will live forever.”-Nicholas Sparks, The Longest Ride
***
I‘m not crying, you‘re crying! Nicholas Sparks has a way with writing that will bring you to tears, whether you like the book or not. I don‘t dislike his books, I just find them simply, “Eh.” But I LOVED ‘The Longest Ride‘!
“Maybe the two different worlds we lived in weren't so different. We saw the same sunset.” -S.E. Hinton, The Outsiders
***
I remember reading this in seventh grade, what I don‘t remember is crying as much as I did. Because man, there were tears. I think this is definitely a book everyone should read.
“You‘ll be silent forever, and I‘ll be gone in the dark,” you threatened a victim once.
Open the door. Show us your face.
Walk into the light.
— MICHELLE McNAMARA
***
I feel like if McNamara were alive to finish this book, it wouldn‘t have been as confusing as it was to go through a book that was pieced together from notes. I am still amazed at the effort that was put into this book to finish it.
“We look up at the same stars and see such different things.” -George R. R. Martin, A Storm of Swords
***
This book took me a embarrassingly long time to read. But it was SO worth it. I loved the first two, but this one was exceptional.
I‘m taking my sweet time on this years reading challenge. I‘m just gonna take Tyrion Lannister‘s words to heart.
“When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die.” -George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones
*
Even though I‘m a bit ashamed to admit it, I enjoyed the show better. But the book was still pretty great. It could have just been because I watched the show before reading the books.
“The sky is everywhere, it begins at your feet.” -Jandy Nelson, The Sky is Everywhere

Another stolen pic from my Bookstagram. This was a very quick read for me, I finished it in two hours, so if you don‘t have a lot of time on your hands I suggest it.
“Sometimes you do things for the right reasons and sometimes for the wrong ones and sometimes it‘s impossible to tell the difference.”- Nicola Yoon, Everything, Everything

I‘m just stealing pictures from my Bookstagram until I get my rug I use for my pictures washed.
Yesterday‘s Barnes & Nobles book haul...I still need the third. I already have the whole trilogy but I don‘t like the covers...has anyone else bought the same books just because they didn‘t like the look of the original ones they had?
“And I guess that‘s when it starts to hit me: the whole point is, you do what you can.” Lauren Oliver, Before I Fall
*
I always enjoy Oliver‘s writing, and even though I liked this book, I did find it very repetitive.
On a side note, look how cute this picture is. 😍
“My courage rises at every attempt to intimidate me.” -Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

Definitely a favorite.
