One of the weirdest books I‘ve read but I couldn‘t put it down! The author does such an excellent job of describing how terrifying it would be to be stuck underground in the dark that I couldn‘t turn my lamp off after I‘d finished reading at night.

My book clubs current read, such a good novel! I was suspecting all of the wrong people but the ending made perfect sense. Am loving thrillers more and more lately. Will have to read The Dry next, out of order I know, but I don‘t think it matters.

Not as thrilling of a thriller as I was hoping. It worked itself up too much so that the twist was rather disappointing. I don‘t read thrillers often so maybe I was going into it with my expectations too high.

I‘ve got the uncorrected proof so no pretty cover unfortunately. I actually really loved this book and finished it in one day it was that hard to put down. I don‘t usually read thrillers so I didn‘t guess the end and got a nice surprise

Kaye Thank you. Who wrote your book ? I haven‘t heard of it. 6y
Hannahjeangranger @Kaye Katharine McGee, it‘s a dystopian novel set in a thousandth floor building where the richer you are the higher up you live, super interesting concept! 6y
Kaye Sounds quite different. I‘d probably be close to ground floor. 6y

Loved this book and its sequel Perfect, was such an interesting concept, although wasn‘t something I think would ever actually happen. I‘d like to think I would do the same thing as Celestine in her situation. (Don‘t mind the mostly empty book shelf ☹️ we‘re in the process of moving house)

Can‘t wait to get into this

BeansPage Is this book over hyped? I feel like it is cause I see it everywhere. But I haven't read it yet so I don't know. 6y
Hannahjeangranger @Syndelle777 I‘m actually really enjoying it so far! I‘m about a third of the way in. The main character is really relatable and it hasn‘t gotten all cheesy like some of his other books 6y

Interesting book but not amazing. I actually quite liked how it was written in an out of order or backwards timeline, but the plot was predictable. I enjoyed We Were Liars much better as a mystery.

Awesome concept but terrible ending, felt so rushed and not thought out, I couldn‘t really keep track of what was happening. Loved the book up until then though
