pickI was never a Shakespeare fan until I read Twelfth Night in high school and then saw She‘s The Man. If I didn‘t already love the insanity and confusion of characters in the story, I would have after Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum made me cry tears of laughter (comedy GOLD). This graphic novel iteration is fun! I enjoyed the fantasy adjacent setting and the 21st century spin on the events. 🧚♀️

There is a moment with mixed up insta tags that is so perfectly the mood of Shakespearean comedy, that I actually gasped. Fun contemporary high school version of Twelfth Night.

Wow, this was just hilarious. I never thought I‘d laugh at anything aired on C-SPAN. 🤣😂🤣 Plus, if a lawyer can drop in THAT many pop culture references AND give a rebuttal in inambic pentameter, she deserves the win. Just saying.

I couldn‘t help myself. I saw that someone else finished it and I went for it. I take issue with the ending. It just sort of ends. Another quick wrap up. Maybe it‘s just how Shakespeare does his comedies? 🤷🏼♀️ I still loved the play anyway. The ending is really my own complaint. I enjoyed Shakespeare‘s exploration of twins, and the idea that he was really writing his own twins into this one. Highly recommend.
