A Reaper at the Gates (Ember Quartet, Book 3) | Sabaa Tahir

so-so

I really love these characters and especially how many strong female characters there are.

This didn't have that many thrilling moments and this was dark but I would have loved to have more scenes with different creepy creatures like we had in the first book.

The ending was really satisfying and it rewarded I still would have loved this to be a bit shorter.

Finally finished. Actually not a book to read from front to back. A great inspiration.
But I'm happy to be able to pick up a novel again.

Certainly not a thriller, but a judicial case. The second main protagonist hardly appears, there are no really exciting twists. It was a boring book.
