It was a really great reading month. No DNFs and nothing less than 3 stars (I think)

The Tsumura was great! It was my favorite read in September. My book club finished the Ishiguro in September too and gave it mixed reviews. I‘d say it‘s a light pick for me, but I totally get the criticism. And I had my first encounter with an audiobook narrator I couldn‘t stand (Underland). Can‘t say I enjoyed the book itself much either. 😬

September Remember! Thanks to audio rereads I got through the first four books of Narnia - forever faves - and I also did John Green's essay collection by audio (I treated it like podcasts and that worked!). I really liked both Ifueko's and Aliche's books, so overall it was a great month of books! I'm still not reading much in print which has me very stressed, but Narnia's making me feel better about it. #SeptemberWrapUp

I'm behind on posting, but here's the results of my September #BookSpinBingo ... I was SO close to getting a bingo. Didn't even read the spin books 🤦‍♀️ I made a list for October, but wasn't able to post it before the #s were drawn. As I'm participating in some spooky season readathons, I'm probably not going to try and do bingo this month, but we'll see!

Not much reading time this month, what with my new bookstore opening in 3 days, but lots of comfort reading, which for me is lots of cozying up with cookbooks!
Also two five star novels with the Rooney and the Groff…. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Word Slut, Your Guide to not getting Murdered in a Quaint English Village, and Several People Typing were all equal parts clever and funny!
ThreeRooms was good not great….
💕📚

squirrelbrain Ooh how exciting - good luck with the grand opening! 📚📚📚 3mo

I‘ve never read so many NEW books in one month! 11 of 18 were published in either August or September. Two more were from earlier this year. I got most from the amazing Nashville Public Library.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Speckled Beauty
The Prince of Frog Town
Calypso #reread
Beautiful World, Where are You
Damnation Spring

marleed So many authors published books this year. I just had to lower my priorities on my physical TBR and thank the public library gods for allowing me to experience so many newly published books. 3mo
britt_brooke @marleed It‘s really been an incredible year for new books! Without realizing it, I‘ve been doing the same. 😂 Thank goodness for libraries! 3mo

My reads for September 💕 I can‘t believe I got 12 books in, but these were all so good! I celebrated Banned Books week right by reading 4 (technically 5) banned or challenged books, and I got to continue in some series I absolutely loved.
