pickI honestly don‘t know how to review this book - loved the use of Chinese & Malaysian mythology juxtaposed with Taylor Swift playing on the radio but felt like I was missing some information (like accidentally reading a sequel first - but I didn‘t) but the overall vibe was great - and I‘m interested in seeing if Rupert manages to pay off his debts.

so-soThis should have been my cup of tea. The ghouls are non-human creatures that eat human flesh. This reminds of vampires and I love Buddy and The Vampire Diaries. So I‘m not sure what happens, but I won‘t rush to read the next volumes.
