#GypsyRoad

The Gypsy in Jane Eyre is from down the Road, kind of. 😉

Also, JE is an #OldFavorite/#OldFavourite of mine. I would like to have the above edition for my collection.

#AdventRecommends by @emilyrose_x (unpopular books) Day 11
So this is an old one, that I've read like 7(ish) years ago.
I love Smith's writing style a lot. And in my opinion this is her best trilogy. It is a bit dark, as most of her books are. But the idea is so original (at least it was once upon a time when I read it).
It has sort of a Jumanji vibe (maybe that's just me, again).
I guess fans of R. L. Stine might like this as well.

#31bookpics #oldfavourite This is another one I snagged from my Dad to read and never gave back. It still makes me cry every time.

One of the few books I've read more than 5 times. I remember opening the German edition for the first time when I was eight. Then I had to read it in school when I was eleven, and I hated how our teacher dissected the book.

So, among all the other books on my shelf, I truly treasure this #OldFavorite of mine.

julesG @ju.ca.no I still wish I had bought the cloth bound hardcover edition of this book. But I was too stingy. 😁 1y
ju.ca.no @julesG oh those are usually marvellous! But at least the softcover is very pretty as well😊 1y

I enjoyed rereading this thriller, that still seems to work forty-plus years on from its original publication. Read my Goodreads review at: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2390415314. #jaws #peterbenchley #shark #greatwhiteshsrk #thriller #oldfavourite

This book is one of my a absolute favourites. It's written in a rather different form, in the form of emails between the major and minor characters. Mel is a young gossip columnist who ends up falling in love with John a crime reporter. Only, she knows him as Max Friedlander.
I won't say much but it was pretty awesome and I would read it again!

RadicalReader @BookishLifeAndCoffee makes me think of the book version of the classic movie Good Advice staring the talented Charlie Sheen 2y
