1. Yes, I don‘t always complete them, but I try. I really enjoyed #nfNov, GAR, & the sci-fi/fantasy challenges.

2. Right now, the GR annual reading challenge (I participate in that one every year) & the Modern Mrs. Darcy 2020 reading challenge. I‘m sure I‘ll sign-up for a few more too.

TheSpineView Thanks for playing! Happy Tuesday! 1mo
marleed I loved NFNov. I audited it because points stress me out but I learned NF is one of my favorite genres. 1mo
wanderinglynn @marleed 🤔 I never heard if there was a nfNov “winner”. 1mo

marleed Oh I don‘t know anything about the outcome of the points, but I sure loved reading NF and seeing Litsy posts on their reading! 1mo
Addison_Reads @wanderinglynn They picked the top three people with points for NFNov and sent gift cards. I was one winner, but I can't remember the other two right now. I didn't even know there was a prize; I just love reading NF. 1mo
jennbee Definitely going to do GR. I couldn‘t really understand the instructions for how to post about my progress in their app, but I‘m going to at least do it for fun. And I always post about whatever I‘m reading on Facebook! So glad I found this app too! 1mo
wanderinglynn @marleed it certainly helped me thin my NF TBR pile! 👍🏻 1mo
wanderinglynn @Addison_Reads congrats! 🙌🏻 1mo
wanderinglynn @jennbee 👍🏻 on Goodreads, you just have to mark the book as read and put the date you finished it. Then GR automatically tracks your progress that way. 1mo
jennbee @wanderinglynn thank you for that explanation! The way that I saw it phrased in the post on GR made it sound more complicated. 1mo
wanderinglynn @jennbee 😀 my pleasure 1mo
jillrhudy I'm creating one right now for the library. It's my project! 1mo
wanderinglynn @jillrhudy fun! 🙌🏻 1mo

So now that I am finished and have taken a significant break from Litsy and #NFNov which was fun I'd like to give a shout out to any one who facilitates an event, a book swap, a reading challenge, a whatever! To keep our community engaged and active. Taking on the role of leading #NFNov was hard work, managing people and points and trying to keep up with my own responsibilities was just difficult for me. So here's to all of you awesome leaders!

LauraJ Thank you for doing it! I loved nonfiction November 🖤 1mo
NeedsMoreBooks Thank you for hosting #NFNov, I enjoyed it 😊 1mo

ljuliel I found in the past that leading was a lot more work than I thought it‘d be. For me, it‘s easier to be a follower than a leader. I do hope there are more book events coming , to keep that activity going. There are lots of new readalongs coming for 2020. 1mo
Addison_Reads Thank you for taking the time to do NFNov. 🙌 1mo
marleed Thank you for NFNov. I participated in an ‘auditing‘ fashion because I stress myself out with points. But I learned so much and discovered I enjoyed NF every bit as much if not more than fiction. And my NF has carried into Dec! I enjoyed the NFNov posts too! 1mo
Scochrane26 I didn‘t participate this year, but thanks to everyone‘s posts, my NF tbr has grown a lot. 1mo
rsteve388 So this is all great and thanks your appreciation m but I just wanted to acknowledged the other Litsy leaders who lead other events cause I now know how hard it is. 1mo

#BookReport This was a great reading week.I finished 6 books,I think the #WinterGames & #TeamNutcracker has been the boost I needed to get reading again.Four out of six are Xmas themed books which I don‘t normally read but tis the freakin season right? The other 2 were a #NFNov read I hadn‘t finished & the 3rd in the 4MK series which I‘d just gotten from the library. My forecast should be good too, lots of new library books👍 1pt+49 #PointsTotal-447

Bk4 of the #WinterGames for #TeamNutcracker is finished. This was a #TBR read that was from #NFNov When you hear about the WTC you hear about the NYPD & FDNY but there were a lot of ordinary people doing brave things that day. Most of the office workers that could be saved were already out of the buildings or well on the way. This book is the story of ordinary people helping each other on the worst day of their life. 16pts+6 #PointsTotal-354

Reviewsbylola Great book but so hard to read. 2mo
marleed I watched an episode interview around the first Anniversary for 9/11. A child whose father was killed that day gave a heartbreaking interview I still think about. Her (it could have been a him - that I don‘t recall) father was not a first responder but she was sure he would have been one with the heroes yet she only heard first responders held up as heroes. It still makes me sad to think of how this child felt alone in grief. 2mo

Would have been great for #NFNov but I got recommendations for these only last weekend

Thanks to #NFNov I marked off three more #Nonfiction2019 bingo squares. Just one more to go!

Here are the ones I did this month:

With pictures: Separate is Never Equal
Something with music: Acid for the Children
Something you saw on Litsy: The Five

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Great job! I have 1 left too! 2mo

Listened to this on audio. Actually had started it last week as part of #NFNov

I liked it. Didn‘t wow me exactly but it does make me want to declutter my apartment so I count that as a win
