CocoReads I haven‘t read that book in so long! Probably not since high school. Oddly enough, it was the only non religious book in my maternal grandma‘s house. Im pretty sure she never read it, I think it must have been left there by one of her kids-my birth Mom or possibly one of her siblings. 5y

Reggie @TheReadingMermaid yes, @Teebe is the one who split us all into groups when she put up her #horrorgoespostal signups. Our group is on its 2nd to last book but we‘ve decided to keep going a second round. But I‘ve read your posts and know you love horror. Put up another post and see if someone would like join a group led by you. There some new Litsy people who love horror who I‘m sure would jump at the chance. 6y

BeansPage This is very true @Reggie thank you for the vote of confidence I appreciate that. How exactly does the book club work? Do you all choose a book, read it and take notes, then mail it to the next person and so on and so forth? 6y

Reggie @TheReadingMermaid yeah, we were the ones who said yes to international, but yes, we were put in a mailing order, we all put out the books we chose for the group so people could say whether they‘ve read them or not, then we sent our books plus a journal that we wrote what we thought about that book and then we sent it to our person and so on and so forth. Ours is a seven person group. It‘s been fun. 6y

Reggie @TheReadingMermaid just a word of advice I would keep the groups to maybe 7or6 or less, because new horror is always being put out and that way if someone wants out they don‘t have to wait for like a 12 person rotation. Idk, maybe that helps. 6y

Once upon a time I laid out my #horrorgoespostal stuff in a separate pile so that they wouldn't get lost in my move. My mom then moved that pile into a tote that I was going to put in my closet (and I didn't even open it when I did so). 🙄🙄🙄
