Popped into a very stately home in the next village to ours - we were there for the celebrations, but on returning home I see 90% of my photos are of the gorgeous inlaid walnut and cherry bookcases lining the library walls!

My #HalloweenBucketList for #Scarathlon is really more of an Autumnal Bucket List, as I don't (ironically haha) “do“ Halloween. The leaves are really starting to kick over, so we went for a beautiful drive yesterday afternoon. Ohio gets dogged on a lot for being boring, but apparently those people have never spent the afternoon tooling around the southeastern part of my state ❤

I have taken a break from reading for the last month or so and in doing so I have picked up on a new hobby (for me). Who new I would finally pick up video games? But I am now a bit behind on my #litsylove this month. I will be getting back on that though!!!!🤞🤞🤞🤞
Another good installment in the bedtime reading genre.
A heavy dose of Egyptian history, with a description of ancient sites. The book primarily covers the area of Nubia (now under Lake Nasser) and Thebes/Luxor. The commentary on the sites struck me as a bit odd until I realized the book is meant to be a tour guide, as well. There is a lot of - “And on your left, you will see a relief of Ramses II on his chariot in battle.”
I knew Animal Crossing was addictive, but I didn‘t appreciate HOW addictive until I bought it for myself 🤣 Since Tuesday my BF and I have been pretty much just passing the controller back and forth. The island is mine and he is a secondary character, so he just fills up the museum and sells fish and bugs all day 🤣
Resisting the urge to steal centre pieces is more difficult on some days than others…
😍 he‘s just the happiest little coconut man!
