This TL book by Trina Hyman is a caldecott winning book. It is great for classrooms of all ages, I would use this book as a RA.

ebrown #ucflae3414f19 this lesson plan asks students to think about how little red would be feeling during the events of the book https://www.scholastic.com/teachers/lesson-plans/teaching-content/red-riding-hoo... UDL 9.3 ESOL strategy 20. now

Well, I finally managed to read these to the kiddo. We enjoyed them, despite my struggles. I offer my sincerest apologies to all Scots for my mangling of your language!

Tamra We LOVE Gruffalo, well to be fair we‘ve loved all Julia‘s picture books. 2h
ravenlee @Tamra we‘ve enjoyed The Gruffalo before, and I‘d been wanting to read The Gruffalo‘s Child, but I didn‘t realize I‘d gotten them in Scots. 😆 It was challenging but fun! We‘ve enjoyed all of her books we‘ve found. 57m

It seems I wasn‘t exactly paying attention at the library yesterday, because I had no idea these weren‘t the original books. I pulled one out for bedtime story last night and did a double take, then put it back and grabbed something easier. I just don‘t think I could pull it off at the end of the day, ya know?

The question is, why does my library have these? Lots of Cajun stories here, sure, but Scottish is new...

Walked my dog through the forest again, feeling like I'm in an magical woods, then I discovered this random bench... I feel the need to read a novel based around this kind of concept.

Finished two more books - Stranger in the Woods is an adorable photo book! The Lonely Doll was okay. 3 points for #teamslaughter #scarathlon @Clwojick

This book came with a narration, but it didn't keep the children focused. I would definitely suggest this book for newborn to maybe 2 years of age

I would read this book to a 3rd grade class. This one is a little more complex for younger students. A 3rd grade class would be able to interested in this book and be able to pay attention to it.
