We have a fantastic novel to discuss this week. Laurent Binet's debut novel “HHhH“ has been on both our radars since its release over a decade ago and our high expectations were met and exceeded by this brilliant, thrilling, and important book. We highly recommend this book and we hope you enjoy our conversation about all things “HHhH.“

Interesting intersection of philosophy and psychology and historical fiction. Also interestingly found out it's Ari's favorite book. Enjoyed the insights into each character's mind and worldview.

First book of quarantine.

In my old age, I have come to believe that love is not a noun but a verb. An action. Like water, it flows to its own current. If you were to corner it in a dam, true love is so bountiful it would flow over. Even in separation, even in death, it moves and changes. It lives within memory, in the haunting of a touch, the transience of a smell, or the nuance of a sigh. 👇🏻

I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join in if you want!

Enjoying #Czech poet Vítězslav Nezval's poetry collection #Prague with Fingers of Rain and looking through the (mostly disappointing) photos we took when we spent a lovely week there back in 2008...

Giving this one a try. In a mood of not knowing what I want to read, besides "Harlem Shuffle" which I am enjoying. Like to have a "real" book and a Kindle book going at the same time as I read the Kindle when I go to bed.....easier to hold in prone position. ? Besides I love thrillers and this promises to be a thrill.

I absolutely loved this little gem of a book. It comes in at only 155 pages but Chatwin says so much within those pages in this elegant novel about a collector of Meissen porcelain in Communist-era Prague.
