My morning activities today: lazy reading, coffee, and maybe some crochet, my newest hobby. My reading has slowed down a lot as the year progressed, but I‘m refusing to see that as a bad thing. It‘s been deeper and more meaningful in many ways. Still, it‘s a mystery to me that I tend to read less when I start having more time off of work for the holidays. This morning‘s mood is an anomaly.

Progress so far on the tree skirt. The yarn is acrylic Loops & Threads Charisma. Absolutely would order more by this company. Totally replacing my plastic hooks after this is done though. The extra friction is really ticking off my shoulder. #crafting #craftersoflitsy

Sometimes the best thing to do is start over... Officially frogged on my scarf that I haven't touched in so long I forgot my design plan. Edit: had to frog again. I think this might be one time I have to write the pattern before I do it. #craftersoflitsy
