#novemberland #day12 #bravecharacters You could argue there's a hero in every novel,but I want to highlight the quiet heroes today.The ones that do the hard things because it's the right thing to do.People like Lena,she befriends Thomas Covenant who assaults her but she stays silent because the Land needs him & her mother, Atiaran,who continues to lead him to Revelstone after she finds out what he's done to her daughter because his help is needed.

Uprooted made me want to escape into the forest, so my husband and I started our reread of Wizard's First Rule on a hike today. This is Luke in his new coat.

Of the many #bravecharacters in this book, Kahlan is my favorite. There's this one scene — if you've read it you know which one I mean — that she is so kick-butt in. It's awesome! #novemberland #dogsoflitsy

So I haven't put many up for #novemberland as I have found them quite challenging. But when I think of #bravecharacters I think of the women in this book.

The rebellious and headstrong Sula throws off every social convention she learned in her small town, at the cost of nearly everything in her life (when she comes home, everybody thinks she‘s the devil). Which is really pretty bad ass.
