A funny yet emotional story/ autobiography about a man's life with aspergers. The unique events John goes through are interesting and I found myself relating a little. Though a little slow pacing wise, it's definitely worth a read!

Jodi Picoult is a master at writing novels based around hot topics… Jacob, an 18 year old boy with Asperger‘s, looks incredibly guilty in the murder of his social skills tutor, but did he do it and how does he get a fair trial when our court system is stuck in the past. Complex, compassionate and incredibly thought provoking.

kbibliophilific Ohhh this is another JP book sitting on my TBR shelf… I might read this next!! 😃😃😃 2mo
Kshakal @kbibliophilific it had been on my shelf forever too and then I needed to read a book with a character who was autistic for a class and I am taking! 2mo

I liked it. Nothing much happens, but it is witty and funny. I was reading it in a cafe and an old man walked past and said “it must be a good book, you keep smiling!”

BkClubCare Thank you for posting on this! I couldn‘t recall the plot but knew I had read it; found my blog review and then discovered I had done a video review 😳. I had totally forgotten I had started such. Too funny (laughing at myself) 3mo

Interesting novel about an 18year old with Asperger's syndrome who is obsessed with forensic analysis. A young girl is dead, but how did she die?... and who killed her. Read more to find out.

I didn‘t enjoy the jams Don got himself into in this one so much. They weren‘t as witty as in The Rosie Project and to me, not as lighthearted. I‘m invested in Don and Rosie though and will read the final book in the series.

This was an abridged audio, so a little choppy at times, but overall not bad. I doubt that it will stick with me though.

Well written, original mystery. But I found myself uneasy with how the autistic MC was portrayed, it was a bit narrow. I wanted to see how autistic ppl viewed it and the below review confirmed my unease. So read for the mystery, with the understanding that this is a limited view of autism. Pick with a caveat.
