So this one is a low pick for me. While I liked the characters, it needed a stronger plot. This book is all about the smut. Which is OK, but I need a good plot to go along with it. I may or may not read the next book in the series. It will depend on my mood. 3.5🌟 ##SeriesLove2025 @Andrew65 #Read2025 @DieAReader #LitsyLoveReads @Read4life @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks #ShelfSweeper @Tove_Reads
Georgiana finds a body outside of Kensington Palace, and has to figure out how it got there and why. The deceased has been a mistress to many, including some of the royal family and members of Parliament, so Georgie's investigating has to be very discreet.
I have really enjoyed reading this series, but didn't really like the previous book. So I was very glad that this one had an interesting storyline again.
Greta hesitatingly agrees to accompany her recently widowed father on the Alaskan cruise that he and Greta's mom had been planning with their friends. Greta and her dad have a strained relationship, because he doesn't understand her career as a musician. Being stuck on a ship together will either be a disaster or just what they need to better understand eachother.

This one is somewhere between a so-so and soft pick for me. Mainly because I didn't connect with the characters. 2.5 - 3.0 🌟

Enjoyed the second installment of the Salacious Players Club series. I liked the characters and the plot worked for me. I also liked that it a bit taboo and the abg gap. 3.5🌟

Ben rents a room from Winnie, who is elderly and a recent widow. Ben suspects that Winnie didn't really want him there, that she only agreed because her family thinks she needs someone there to watch out for her & help around the house. So Ben plans to stay out of her way, but then Covid lockdowns start. He and Winnie are forced to spend most of their time together, and a friendship ensues as they start to see life from each other's perspective.
This book was lackluster for me. I didn't get the characters. In fact, there were times their actions didn't make sense. While I have read other books by this author, this one just fell short. 2.5 🌟

I enjoyed this one. I liked the age gap between the characters and that the story was told from a dual POV. I liked that the FMC was strong though I wished she had been honest with Casey at the start it could have saved them both some heart ache. Great addition to this series. 4🌟
