This was the first book that came to mind when I saw #bookandfruit. The funny thing about this book is I remember readng it when I was 17/18 but can't remember this book for the life of me(if that makes sense). I saw it pop up several times at book stores the last 3-4 years so I figure it was fate to read it again and bought it last year. It is on my #tbr list for this year. #splashintosummerreads

For day 6 of #splashintosummerreads - the first thing that popped into my head for #bookandfruit was one of my favorite guilty pleasures, Twilight. I know these books get a lot of flak from some people, and that's fine, it's not everyone's cup of tea. I just find it to be a nice escape. ☺️#Twilight

PurpleyPumpkin I enjoyed these too! They were great escapist reading. 😊 7y
JenlovesJT47 @PurpleyPumpkin awesome, I agree! Did you like the movies? The last two are my faves 🍎🍏🍎 7y
Ms_T I love these books too ❤️ 7y

booksandsympathy I don't think you should feel guilty about liking them. I enjoyed them when I read them. All these people kept pointing out they weren't great literature and I kept wondering if they were meant to be. They were fun and I enjoyed them for what they were. I wasn't expecting Shakespeare. That said, I didn't like the movies. 7y
JenlovesJT47 @booksandsympathy very true. Down with book shaming! Like 50 shades for instance. I can recognize the fact that she is a terrible writer but once I finished the first book I had to read the rest to see how it ended. And I did sort of enjoy the last one. Sometimes you just need to read fluff! 7y
maich I love Twilight saga. This was my first fantasy novels. And then become my favourite genre. 7y

#bookandfruit #splashintosummer. I keep meaning to read this one 😀

monkeygirlsmama It's a surprising fun read. I read it years ago, and then handed it over to my best friend who proceeded to also devour it. 7y
seebiscan I agree! It was a super fun read. They also have a podcast, which is usually entertaining. 7y
Dragon Thanks @monkeygirlsmama @seebiscan this might make a good read for my lunch break at work. I'm currently reading an epistolary novel 7y
