@jdtchicago Thanks for the tag.

I don't plan my reading ahead, so I can only predict my #5for2018 and #2018quickstart reads.

The certain ones are:
Martel - The High Mountains of Portugal for #LMPBC

Mosse - The Labyrinth

AceOnRoam And Happy New Year to you too 🍾🍾🍾 6y
AceOnRoam By the way, I didn't really enjoy High Mountains. I hope you like it though. 6y
julesG @AceOnRoam Thanks! Happy New Year to you, too. As for the Martel, it's for the book club, otherwise I might not have picked it. It'll broaden my horizon. 😉 6y

AceOnRoam @julesG indeed it will. You will learn a little about Portugal too. 6y
Cinfhen I wasn't a fan of Mountains, either @AceOnRoam I had high expectations since Life of Pi is a favorite 6y
Cinfhen And happy new Year to both of you 💖💖💖 6y
AceOnRoam Thanks @Cinfhen glad I'm not the only one. 6y
Miss_Kim I loved all of Mosse‘s books! 6y

Thx for the tag @jdtchicago for my must-read #5for2018:
On Writing-Stephen King
Dear Martin-Nic Stone
The Autobiography of Malcolm X-Malcolm X & Alex Haley
The Story of my Experiments with Truth-Gandhi
The Wretched of the Earth-Frank Fanon

Those are some heavy selections so I thought I‘d lighten it up with my brand spankin‘ new Funko avatar. The peer pressure of it all!! 😍
Tagging @Bookladylinda @WithLoveShadai @EchoLogical @ElishaLovesBooks

GoneFishing @Wbabdullah loved on writing. 6y
Wbabdullah I literally can‘t wait to read it!!! And am trying to figure out if I‘m going to actually read it or listen to it! Maybe both! @jdtchicago 6y

Gissy I read already Crime and Punishment. Great novel! I'm still remember Raskolnikov. I could try this year Memoirs of a Geisha, is in my wish list. I let you know when I post the review. Thank you for the tag! 6y
Gezemice Thanks for the tag! I am currently reading War and Peace, will finish in 2018. I'll have to think about it. I have read Memoirs of a Geisha and Crime and Punishment, both excellent. They did not take me that long. War and Peace, on the other hand... (edited) 6y
mjdowens Hhmmmm...going to have to look at my list in the morning to see which ones are my top five reads 6y
BarbaraBB Ambitious resolution! 6y

DrSabrinaMoldenReads Hmm....great question... 6y
DGRachel I have tried (and failed) three times to read Crime and Punishment. I wonder if I‘ve waited long enough to try again. 6y
AmyG I am not a fan of Russian Literature though I have read War and Peace and Crime and Punishment. I loved Memoirs of a Geisha so much. (edited) 6y
Scurvygirl Gravity‘s Rainbow is on my list!! 😹😹 6y
Cupofjo Classics are not the easiest for me, especially when there‘s so many new books! My goal this year is to get through my TBR pile! 6y
readordierachel Crime and Punishment is a great read. Enjoy! 6y
Angeles The red sphinx, no time to spare, De rerum natura, provenance, Moliere's comedies and The time machine 6y
Angeles And of course a boatload of historical fiction and romance😁 6y
GoneFishing @Suet624 Might have to put war and peace off til 2019, and focus on crime and punishment this year. 6y
Suet624 Well, I may have to tackle Crime and Punishment this year then. It makes me feel less guilty that I haven‘t read it considering the fact that you, being so well read, haven‘t read it either! Now I have to think of 4 more must reads for 2018. Thanks for the tag! 6y
GoneFishing I got a long way to go to be well read. 6y
Suet624 @jdtchicago seriously? I have loved reading all the quotes you‘ve posted from the many and varied books you‘ve read. 6y

batsy Great choices! I look forward to your posts 💕 6y
Cathythoughts @Batsy thanks! It should be interesting. Are you joining in ? 6y
batsy @Cathythoughts Alas, no. I'm doing three challenges next year and I'm not really a challenge person so I'm not sure what I'm doing 😌 but it's a good way to motivate me to read the kind of books I want to be reading. Hopefully you guys will inspire me to get some poetry in when I can 🙂 6y
Cathythoughts @batsy I totally understand! I‘m not doing any challenges, because I don‘t quite understand how they work yet !! 🙄. Just getting a handle on the monthly prompts for now. Maybe a challenge next year. Good luck with them & I look forward to your posts ❤️ 6y
Cathythoughts Oh & p.s. I‘ve added Villette to my #5for2018 thankyou for saying it‘s your fave book. I have to read it now ✨ 6y
batsy Oh, that's so exciting! I always get nervous recommending my favourite books because each person responds differently, but I hope you enjoy 😊 Honestly can't go wrong with a Brontë! 6y
