If Rune hopes to survive, she must ally herself with the cruel and dangerous Cressida Roseblood, whos planning to take back the Republic and reinstate a Reign of Witchessomething Cressida needs Rune to accomplish. A WITCH HUNTER... Apparently it wasnt enough for Rune to deceive Gideon; shes now betrayed him by allying herself with the witch who made his life a living hell. Gideon wont allow the Republic to fall to the witches and be plunged back into the nightmares of the past. In order to protect this new world he fought for, every last witch must dieespecially Rune Winters. AN IMPOSSIBLE CHOICE... When Rune makes Gideon an offer he cant refuse, the two must pair up to accomplish dangerous goals. The more theyre forced into each others company, the more Gideon realizes the feelings he had for Rune arent as dead and buried as he thought. Now hes faced with a terrible choice: sacrifice the girl he loves to stop a monster taking back power, or let Rune live and watch the world he fought so hard for burn. In Kristen Ciccarelli's Rebel Witch, the exciting conclusion to The Crimson Moth duology, love has never been so deadly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

To me, it‘s rare for the second book in a series (or even the latter half of a duology) to be better than the first book. “Rebel Witch” is one instance where I enjoyed the conclusion of a duology WAY more than its predecessor. The enemies-to-lovers progression throughout the entire book was superb, and the character development was enjoyable to see.

What a good ending to this duology. I enjoyed this one more than the first! Rune and Gideon have to work together and trust each other but of course there are still tons of secrets and betrayals. Lots of twists and surprises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

3. My gladiolus are gorgeous! the picture does not do it justice. Gladiolus and peonies always remind me of my grandma Gladys- one of my favorite people ever
4. Loki and Aoife were batting back and forth- hysterical!

Also finished this in 2-3 days. I fell in love with these characters even when Rune could be insufferable. I wish there was more, but it rounded out nicely

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I mean, what a ride!
I did like book 1 more than this one - this had a lot of “how will they ever get out of this?!” moments and that sometimes can get a bit much for me, but I still loved the characters, loved the magic, loved the romance.
There were some twists I saw coming from the very beginning of the book, but then others that I didn‘t see coming at all, so that was a good balance, too.
This duology is one I definitely recommend!

… caused a nice little book hangover… wasn‘t too heavy but still made me sad that I won‘t see more of Rune and Gideon in the future.
