TBR The UNSTOPPABLE
TBR The UNSTOPPABLE: The Transformational Journey of a Soldier | T Bhogeswar Rao
12 posts
This autobiography covers the story of a multi-faceted man from village to chill-age and how TBR has undergone his transformational journey without any big theories or strategies but with consistency in his efforts toward work, family and society. TBR is a name synonymous with the industry. His relentless efforts made him travel an untiring journey from village to the Air Force to law to entrepreneurship with continuous social service and employment creation. Although he faced challenges throughout, he came out of each one successfully and compiled each episode as a story to be preserved for posterity. Continuous challenges gave him continuous energy to fight them out. This autobiography is a narrative of these challenges, with incidents resembling a movie plot. TBR has played a 50-year match to create success and chill out in his sixties, to work on the projects which give him satisfaction and do good for the masses through social entrepreneurship, women empowerment, employment generation, educational endeavours and skill development. TBR Infra, Sainik School and garments manufacturing ,are some of the initiatives. This autobiography offers readers a meticulous way to carve out a journey without major fights or flaws, yet come out winning the numerous challenges in each stage of life. Why this book: The keywords are resilience, unstoppable journey, continuous learning, facing challenges with grit and effort, never-give-up attitude, being positive, self-motivating and inspiring.

All ready for 2023‘s reading journey — these are the ~120 books I can pick from (plus for my #reallifebookgrouo). Not that I can read that many books in a year (yet! Someday my life won‘t be too busy 😜), but it helps to somewhat limit my choices. 😳

As for the rest? Imma have to cullll my books again this next year 😥 bc we‘re moving next year! (Again 😬🫣)

Happy Holidays all!! Hope you‘re staying safe & are finding quiet moments of peace❄️💙🌺

kspenmoll Happy Holidays to you! How to choose??! 1y
Avanders @kspenmoll for the shelf? It‘s a combination of a “spark joy” sort of consideration and trying to make sure I‘m mixing new and old & mixing genres. As for in the moment? 💯 mood-based 😁 1y

So, I‘m still following @TheAromaofBooks lead, and adding my #bookspin and #doublespin into my monthly TBR list for my #bookspinbingo card. This is a mix of book club, reading challenges, audiobooks, #chunksterchallenge2022 #almostachunksterchallenge and library holds. Looking forward to a longer month and some spring break reading in March!

TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!! I'm so excited about how my system of having a separate list for my “real“ BookSpin book is working 😂 I'm almost done with David Copperfield (January) and halfway through Ivanhoe (February), two classics I've been meaning to read for years!!! 2y
GinaKButler @TheAromaofBooks I‘m excited...my bookspin list looks intimidating, but they are all books I‘d love to read this year. To focus on one or two every month seems much more manageable. Thank you! 2y
Amiable I love the “almost a chunkster challenge” tag! 😀 What qualifies for that? FYI, next year I‘m going to create tiers for the Chunkster Challenge with increasingly larger page counts, I think! 2y

GinaKButler @Amiable according to @TheAromaofBooks it‘s a book with 450-800 pages. She posted the #almostachunksterchallenge last month I think? I lowered my reading goal for the year so I could finally get to some of these longer titles. I love the tiered idea for next year! 2y
TheAromaofBooks Yes, I went with 450-800pgs, since 800+ seems to be the generally-agreed-upon chunkster minimum haha I was inspired by someone else's BookSpin list - they had “Almost a Chunkster“ as one of their categories and I loved it! I think a tiered system would be really great for your challenge @Amiable - I have so many books that are longer than my normal fare but not “real“ chunksters!! 2y
Amiable @GinaKButler @TheAromaofBooks I've been thinking something along these lines for tiers:
650-799 = Chunkster Mini
800-999 = Chunkster
1,000+ =Super Chunkster
What do you think? I'm open to suggestions. My idea of a true chunkster is probably a lot larger than most people! I always pick a book that's at least 1,000 pages for this challenge. I know that page count turns scares off a lot of people. But those who attempt it should be rewarded! :)
2y
Amiable Maybe I can add 500-649 = “Almost a Chunkster“! :) 2y
GinaKButler @Amiable I love this idea! @Kelly326 and I are planning on reading 4 books this year: 2 qualify as “chunksters” and 2 “super chunksters”. The “mini” and “almost” categories will open up some other options! I really appreciate you and @TheAromaofBooks hosting fun challenges...it definitely has enhanced my reading life! 2y
TheAromaofBooks @Amiable - I love those levels!! Like @GinaKButler said, adding the smaller categories opens up a lot of books while still maintaining the integrity of “real“ chunksters haha 2y
Amiable @TheAromaofBooks @Ginakbutler And maybe I'll throw in the mother-of-all chunksters -- if you tackle “War and Peace“ you get a special gold medal completion meme for “The Ultimate Chunkster.“ :) 2y
GinaKButler @Amiable @TheAromaofBooks I read that one in 2019. I‘d re-read it though...🤣 (edited) 2y
Amiable @GinaKButler I read it in 2015– that was my chunkster for that year! 😀 Not sure I want to tackle it again, though. 2y
