LibrarianRyan Is this one before or after you find out where the book of the dead came from. I loved this series but when the covers changed it felt different. I didn‘t like the titles as much and after finding out the history of the book of the dead I never finished the series. I want to but… 2y
Chili @LibrarianRyan It‘s before. It‘s #8 in the series. I think the next one has the history of the book of the dead. Betsy makes a deal with the devil to be able to read it in #9 2y
LibrarianRyan @Chili yeah that sounds familiar. It‘s been a few years. I hope you continue to like it. 2y

Listened to this one early this week. Its a short 5 hour book, so its perfect for #AudioCommute and well.. I had to do a bunch of PCR COVID tests at work, so I was able to #AudioWork as well!..

I really liked how you got more information/story from Mark's perspective on this one :)

Got this for 33p (well 3 for Q9) in the library book sale but didn't even make it to page 50. I hadn't read any of the others but liked the cover line. Unfortunately the lead character is the self obsessed, self centred side of Sex and the City not the fun stuff. Top it off with a backstory I didn't know and I just didn't care enough to give it any longer!

ElizaMarie I can see how this is the case. I don't like Betsy as a character, but... if you stared at the beginning you might car about the whole story (potentially) but... again if it doesn't speak to you ASAP I wouldn't bother. 2y
