Took a Can-Am buggie tour through the dunes and onto the beach for a snorkel. I picked this up at reception‘s take-one-leave-one shelf. Love it so far!

I heard a great interview with the author on Just the Right Books. I went and ordered this one ASAP, also was able to get the second one out of the library, this weekend.

so-soFinished my 1st book of the #24in48 readathon!! It just made me sad- sad that 15 years after it was published not much has changed for many working women. They are still encountering bullying & harassment in the work force. But there are parts with her kids that make you laugh because you recognize the daily drama of kids.
Pulling into Friday (and the last day of the semester) like...
I‘ve worked 48 hours in 4 days, and I don‘t have a day off until next Thursday. I. Am. Tired.
But, in case any kittens are stalking me, I do know that I have three packages waiting for me in my apartment office. Hopefully I‘ll be able to pick them up tomorrow.

I just opened up this book out of curiosity because I haven't opened it since I read it. I found a dated piece of paper in there from 2003 and an anniversary card from my husband. I also found my daughter's first sonogram picture tucked away in Harry Potter (a memory of reading it while I was preggo)😀 I need to look inside all of my old books now #24in48
