pick📖 Most of this series is a re-read for me, having read the first five books in HS/college. Fragile Eternity was a bit of a drag for me, but this one! I had forgotten that this was my favorite! Ani and Devlin are so compelling and fit so well together, the instant magnetism between them had me from the get go. Rae one the other hand… the trouple aspect seems a tad forced if you ask me.
pickI was a bit annoyed how this started: new main characters without telling who they were. It took me some time to remember who Ani was.
The world and atmosphere were again well created & amazing.
This felt a bit too detailed, hard to follow and slow. It took too long before things started to happen - I had already almost lost my interest at that point. There were good twists and I love stories that are unpredictable.
so-soUgh I started this one about a month ago and really had a hard time connecting with it. Although I love Devlin‘s character…I didn‘t love much beyond that. To be honest the first 100 pages were boring. Hopefully the next book in the series is more engaging. I so loved the first books. #100readchallenge
so-soAnother side story and I do not like how this story is going!! 😫 there is this entire weaving of story lines going on. It just isn‘t as good as book one. #bookspinbingo

My #currentread! My friend has been dying for me to finish the #WickedLovely series since I started it a few years ago and loaned me the last two books to read.
One thing I'll always respect about #MelissaMarr is how she unapologetically writes about things that interest her! We'll see how that goes in this one~
