I loved this book!

I had completely different expectations of this wonderful book when I started, but it slowly morphed into an amazing and unexpected adventure.

I would definitely recommend this book to those who love YA, mystery, and romance novels.

YA reading that is dynamic and complex. This book deals with friendship, family issues, sexual identity and the effects that love of all kinds has on young people as they grow and mature. Definitely glad our book club picked this one for September.

This book wasn't necessarily bad. I just expected more from it. I didn't really enjoy either character. My favorite characters probably Lula's step dad. For maybe two minutes. I think I can probably recommend this book with caution.

I absolutely love this book! The character development feels real as though either Rory or Lula were really talking to you. The problems that these two faced seemed so realistic that I've personally went through one way or another. This made me feel so happy that I was on the verge of tears.
