Burns Night went lateish, and even though I barely drank any Scotch I‘m somehow totally exhausted this morning. All I had the energy to do for my 11am breakfast was take a protein drink out of the fridge.
In the manner of protein drinks everywhere, it had the consistency of thin custard.
Now I‘m gonna read GIANT DAYS and try to wake up.
pickOne of my goals for 2020 is to catch up on my graphic novels. I started with Giant Days because I started in 2019. Yesterday I read Volume 9 and today I read Volume 10. That was all I owned and the series is just so fun! Volume 11 will be here on Thursday, as well as the two unnumbered volumes. Then I am caught up until Volume 12. Nice start to 2020!
Goodreads came through with the update! I‘m hoping to do more in 2020 - I‘d love to hit 200. #goodreadschallenge #goodreadschallenge2019
I did it! (Even though my Year in Books section isn‘t accurate because Goodreads seems to think the cutoff for the year is December 30 and I had a bunch I hadn‘t recorded yet.) pickDaisy's life falls apart and she manages to put it back together, the gang's trying to adapt to their new living spaces, several of the group freak out at a job fair, and Ed is trying to adjust after his epic fail in the last volume.
I didn't add this series to my series tracking list and forgot all about it. I was excited to run across this volume at the library. 🙌🏻
